Hope SB33 issues can be hammered out

June 7, 2013

The following letter was sent to Delaware senators with a copy submitted to the Cape Gazette for publication.

I understand there was some hammering out yet to do on SB33; I trust issues have been resolved. Sussex County is made up of many manufactured homes and the senior citizens, veterans, individuals seeking affordable homes are constantly in jeopardy if we do not get SB33 passed.

The individuals in these homes need protection against unjustifiable increases and, simply put, SB33 provides these protections. For the life of me I do not understand why a simple bill to protect us can't get passed.

Once again I urge all in the legislature to support SB33.
