Cape students shine at state driver education competition

Nine Cape Henlopen High School students attended the 25th Annual Driver Education Competition April 24 at Dover Downs Speedway Inc. in Dover. The competition was sponsored by the Delaware Driver Safety Education Association and Delaware Department of Education.

The competition activities consist of a written test, road test, driver skills test and a map reading test. The Cape Henlopen High School students placed third out of more than 20 schools.  Lewes Auto Mall leases the automobiles that are used for driver education instruction.
