Corvette Club awards scholarships

The Beachcombers Corvette Club awarded a scholarship to Bailey Hoch of Seaford at its monthly meeting recently at the Georgetown CHEER Center. Priyen Patel, also of Seaford, was awarded a scholarship, but wasn’t present for the ceremony. More than 110 public school students from Sussex County applied for the club’s scholarship. Hoch will attend Coastal Carolina University with a major in biology and environmental studies. Patel will attend the University of Miami with a major in biology for his pre-med courses.
