Jane and Georgie in Rehoboth Beach has once again opened for business.
The store, owned by sisters Kate and Lisa Chambers, now has a larger, more open floor area for merchandise. Kate Chambers said the new look has attracted new customers, even if the store was ready just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
Chambers said besides women’s clothing, handbags and accessories, the store’s bread-and-butter, Jane and Georgie has added more gift-oriented items such as candles, beach bags and picture frames.
Jane and Georgie donated its old store to the Coalition for West Rehoboth to be used as a new single-family house on Burton Street in West Rehoboth. The building was moved Feb. 19.
