Soul Yoga Summer Solstice at Lewes Canalfront Park June 21

Everyone is welcome to greet the official arrival of summer out in the fresh air in one of the most breathtaking settings in the state! Join the Soul Yoga community and Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park in celebrating the Summer Solstice Friday, June 21, at Lewes Canalfront Park on Front Street in downtown Lewes.

The experienced instructors of Soul Yoga Studio will guide everyone through the 108 Sun Salutations. Like last year's event, which was fun and memorable, people can participate either individually or as a member of a team, rotating in and out like a relay. Everyone is welcome to this spirit-affirming evening - just bring a mat or towel.

Registration begins at 5 p.m., with a 5:45 p.m. welcome. The Sun Salutations will take place between 6 and 8 p.m., with a break for everyone to rehydrate and relax! The event will take place rain or shine (but not thunderstorms). Offerings will be accepted, with all proceeds going to support Canalfront Park, which is the site of many popular free summer events, including Concerts by the Canal, Cinemas by the Canal, weekly yoga and weekly Zumba.
