New culinary initiative comes to Rehoboth Beach
June 27, 2013

Building on coastal Delaware’s growing reputation as one of the East Coast’s finest culinary destinations, a group of local chefs has teamed with Milton’s Dogfish Head Brewery for a new initiative scheduled for the resort destination in late August.

Developed by the Rehoboth Inspired Chef Initiative and Dogfish Head, the aptly named Taste of Rehoboth will feature a sampling of some of the best culinary options available in the Nation’s Summer Capital.

Ticket holders will be treated to wine and beer pairings, as well as farmer-to-chef pairings, live music, cooking demonstrations and much more during the event, scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.

Tickets for the evening are available for $40 in advance or $50 at the door, with a portion of all proceeds from the evening being donated to the Food Bank of Delaware.

Beginning in early July, tickets can be purchased at several local businesses including Jam, Blue Moon, Cabo, Hobos and Azura Clothing.
