Annual Lewes 5K benefits Sussex Habitat for Humanity

June 28, 2013

This year's 3rd Annual Lewes 5K Run/Walk once again benefited Sussex County Habitat for Humanity. Special thanks to Irish Eyes for agreeing to be the overall sponsor and hosting the event at its Lewes location.

With the change of location and food and beverages provided by Irish Eyes, the participation of runners and walkers doubled this year.

Each participant received a shirt, and many left with first-, second- and third-place medals for their varying age groups.

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. For more information, call 302-855-1153, go to www.sussexcountyhabitat.org or like the organization on Facebook.
