Cadbury announces hiring of Rich Vaughn as executive chef

Cadbury at Lewes announces the hiring of Rich Vaughn to the position of executive chef effective July 4. Vaughn received his culinary arts degree from Widener University and is a member of the American Culinary Federation.

Vaughn's experience includes more than 25 years in the food service industry with 16 years in management. He has worked in business dining, restaurants, catering and most recently in healthcare with Morrison Senior Living at Methodist Manor House in Seaford.

He has extensive experience with Aramark and Morrison Senior Living and is ServSafe certified. Vaughn has received several awards in his field and has completed the Compass Group Nutritional Fundamentals for Balanced Choices Program.

Vaughn will report to Jeff Smith, director of Dining Services. He will oversee the efficient operation of the kitchen. Vaughn is looking forward to preparing and presenting his culinary expertise for residents and staff.

Cadbury at Lewes is a continuing care retirement community where residents enjoy all the amenities and services that provide a maintenance-free lifestyle.
