Church of Christ invites children to SonWest Roundup
A summer kids' event called SonWest Roundup will be hosted at Ocean View Church of Christ from July 21-26. At SonWest Roundup, kids will be riding high in a colorful western town with cowboys and cowgirls.
Youngsters will explore the stories of Moses to discover God's ultimate power and His plan of salvation through Jesus. Buckaroos will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play rodeo ring games, and dig into treats in Miss Carol's Snack Bar.
Each day concludes with a Roundup - a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they've learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in nightly for this special time at 8:25 p.m.
Kids at SonWest Roundup will Lifeline Christian Mission this year. The children's cash donations given each night will be collected and sent with letters and prayers to Lifeline to be used toward such works as supporting children's homes in Haiti, Christian schools, emergency release, food, clothing and much more.
SonWest Roundup is for kids from 3 years old to youngsters who have completed the 6th grade. It will run from 6 to 8:45 p.m. For more information, call 302-593-7468.
