Work is ongoing along Route 1 near the Indian River Inlet bridge to rebuild the dune destroyed as Hurricane Sandy passed off the coast of Delaware. Crews are reshaping and strengthening the dune on the northern side of the bridge as part of a beach replenishment project planned for the area.
