LHS arts fest once again a success

July 13, 2013

On Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23, with gorgeous weather, more than 5,500 regional residents and visitors attended the Lewes Historical Society’s Mid-Atlantic Sea Glass and Coastal Arts Festival.

All of the supportive patrons, more than 60 top-quality vendors, generous volunteers, staff and press coverage made this year’s festival a raging success, the best yet!

The Lewes Historical Society would like to thank the wonderful sea glass and coastal artist vendors, who are known locally and from afar - Florida, California, and even Midway Atoll and the Virgin Islands! We would like to thank the wonderful patrons, who supported the society and vendors, and the volunteers who committed their time for the success of this event.

Furthermore, we would like to thank committee chairperson Michele Buckler from Sand ‘n’ Stones in Lewes, and Casa Amici and Vitales for providing delicious refreshments.

2013 was the fourth year of this event, and we are proud of how it has grown so much every year. We look forward to seeing even more progress in 2014 on the weekend of June 21-22. Hope to see you there.

E. Michael DiPaolo
executive director, The Lewes Historical Society
