Victor Letonoff wins People's Choice ribbon in Holly Branch exhibit

The Holly Branch National League of American Pen Women’s first Artistic Excellence Young People’s Scholarship Art Exhibit announces the winner of the People’s Choice ribbon. Professional artist Victor Lentonoff of Lewes won with his original oil painting, “Salute to the U.S.S. Delaware.” The show, held in the new Dover Public Library in Dover, ran from April 14 until July 7.

The opening reception included Dover Mayor Carleton Carey and the 12 student winners of the competition, who received a personalized certificate and/or letter from Sen. Tom Carper, Gov. Jack Markell and Lt. Gov. Matt Denn. The 2nd Annual Artistic Excellence Young People's Scholarship program for Sussex and Kent counties will begin in August, 2014.

The Holly Branch National League of American Pen Women will be contacting public and private schools as well as homeschooler groups.
