Nancy Sherman Morbit, registered nurse

Nancy (Sherman) Morbit, 69, resident of Fenwick Island and The Villages, Fla., passed away Monday, July 15, 2013.
Nancy was born in Trevorton, Pa., Aug. 16, 1943. She graduated from Richland High School and continued on to receive a nursing degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Miranda (Brubaker) Sherman; and by her beloved brother, Francis Sherman.
Nancy was married to Paul C. Morbit Jr. June 12, 1965; they were married 48 wonderful years and enjoyed residing and raising their family in the Baltimore metropolitan area. For 42 years she worked as a registered nurse. She enjoyed decorating, rooting for the Washington Redskins, golfing after retirement, and had a love for life with her family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Paul Morbit; and their three children, Kelly (Morbit) Deller and her husband Tyler, Paul Morabito and his wife Jennifer, and Vince Morabito and his wife Angela; grandchildren Brandon, Brooke, Sophia, Olivia, and Gianna; and her sister Carol (Sherman) Weaver.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 20, at  St. Luke Catholic Church, 9903 Coastal Hwy. (100th Street Bayside), Ocean City, Md.
The family of Nancy wishes to thank her caretakers at Delaware Hospice, as well as her surgeon and physicians at Thomas Jefferson Hospital and AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Philadelphia.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Delaware Hospice Inc., 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
