Milton Garden Tour was a boost for community

July 28, 2013

The Milton Garden Club Inc. would like to thank absolutely all of you who made our garden tour a great success. The compliments from all who strolled through our streets, gardens and homes were so overwhelmingly positive. Tour goers were so pleased to be able to talk to the homeowners and gardeners who worked so hard to make this event the success that it was.

We want to thank all the businesses and individuals who were so generous in placing ads in our tour books, to the homeowners who so graciously opened their beautiful homes and gardens for all to see; to those businesses that took the time to sell our tour books; to the Milton Art Guild for participating and having artists and artisans in many of the gardens; to Blessings Blends; and especially to the members of the Milton Garden Club who worked so hard and long to make this the success that it was.

Without the dedication and determination of the MGC members, the tour would not have happened, nor would the town of Milton have the beauty of the gardens and planters that grace the streets and parks throughout town. You are a great group of individuals, which I am so proud to be a member. We worked hard to make this a success and it truly was. We look forward to seeing you again next year on the garden tour - A Walk Down Union Street - which will replicate the gardens from our Bicentennial tour. Again, thank you all for your support.
