John Lloyd Ware, had passion for life

John Lloyd Ware, 85, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, July 22, 2013, with his loving family by his side.  He was born in Washington, D.C. in September,1927, son of the late Eugene and Frances (Binns) Ware.

John was a metro transit bus driver and D.C. tour guide for 32 years.  He retired in 1980 and moved to Rehoboth where he had 33 years of leisurely life at the beach during his retirement.  John leaves his loved ones and friends with a legacy of selflessness, kindness, humor and passion for life that will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Miriam.  He was dearly adored by his children Deborah, John (deceased), Diane, Michael, Charles, Mark, and Linda and loved by his 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Geraldine Reza; and was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.  He will be immensely missed.

Funeral services will be held at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Thursday, July 25,  at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Mike Hurley officiating.  Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home, where Masonic rites will be held at 7:30 p.m.  Burial will be Friday July 26, at noon at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, Md.
