Georgetown SPCA a role model

August 2, 2013

It is admirable that Safe Haven board members Rita Hughes and Sharon Donovan took Safe Haven dogs to shelters in Maine and New Hampshire.  The Georgetown DE SPCA has also taken dogs from Safe Haven, had these dogs spayed and neutered, and made available for adoption.  Why wasn’t this mentioned in the most recent article about the plight of Safe Haven?

It should be known that the Georgetown DE SPCA and many other Sussex County animal rescue groups have been helping Safe Haven.  This information never seems to be included in Safe Haven press releases and news articles.  The Georgetown DE SPCA is a role model for Safe Haven!
