RCST presents family plays during August in Lewes

"Robin Hood" leads off Aug. 8

The Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre will perform three delightful plays in Lewes on Thursday mornings in August. Leading off the series is "Robin Hood" Aug. 8, followed by "The Wizard of Oz" Aug. 15 and "Millie and the Orange Dragon" Aug. 22. Performances are at the Lewes Presbyterian Church. Curtain for all shows is 11 a.m.

The plays are staged in the unique, imaginative two-actor format that has thrilled audiences since the company’s founding in 1982. Fast-paced action and a sparkling sense of humor provide entertainment for family members of all ages.

Tickets to all shows are $10. They can be reserved by calling the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre at 302-227-6766. Tickets can also be purchased at www.rehobothchildrenstheatre.org. The Lewes Presbyterian Church is at 133 Kings Highway across from the Zwaanendael Museum.

"The Wizard of Oz," "Robin Hood" and "Millie and the Orange Dragon," along with "Jack and the Beanstalk," will continue to rotate on the RSCT schedule with performances in Rehoboth at the Clear Space Theatre on Sunday evenings and at the Epworth United Methodist Church on Tuesdays evenings and Wednesday mornings.
