People of Millsboro don't want contamination

August 8, 2013

This is regarding Pinnacle/Vlasic Pickles on the proposed chicken processing plant located on Iron Branch Road in Millsboro.

“We the people” of Millsboro do not need one more company to go on contaminating our land. All of us are here for a short time. Do we need to make the same mistakes as our parents made for us?  We should care for our children and grandchildren. We sure could use a rest and recoup from all of the contamination this town has had.

The board wrote 10 letters to the permitting agencies and only four replied back. They talked about the “Vlasic Plant” and not about the chicken plant. Why is that, you ask? Well because Allen Harim has not sent in any plans. Do they really care about the people?
