Amandeline Gallery to display artwork by Cape grad

August 9, 2013
Charcoal and acrylic on paper by Maddi Ponko

Amandeline Gallery will premiere the artwork of Maddi Ponko, an emerging artist currently studying at Savannah College of Art and Design, and a 2010 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School.

Ponko's avant-garde style is depicted in both her figurative and still-life works. Her vision transforms the typical into the unusual.  Meet Ponko Saturday, Aug. 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. during the Mosaic Second Saturday Artwalk.

New work from acclaimed Delaware artist Cassie Lawn Walker will also be exhibited.  Walker has embraced figures in her latest work, depicting a classic portrait of Abraham Lincoln, a surreal traveler and a beach pin-up girl.

View these special works of art by talented, local artists at 20 Baltimore Ave. for a limited time.  All artwork will be available for purchase.
