Beebe Auxiliary to hold 13th Annual Fun Fest Sept. 21

Winswept Stables to host family-friendly event

The Beebe Medical Center Auxiliary will hold the 13th Annual Fun Fest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21 at Winswept Stables on John J. Williams Highway (Route 24), Rehoboth Beach. Rain date is Sept. 28. The event is open to the public and family friendly. Proceeds will benefit programs of Beebe Medical Center.

Members of the Winswept Stables Pony Club will give riding demonstrations throughout the day. Numerous games, including a money cube, obstacle course and a moon bounce, will be featured. There also will be face painting, Winswept Stables' petting zoo, hayrides, train rides and pony rides. Visitors can participate in Adopt a Pet, there are stuffed animals to choose from, or have pictures taken standing with a scarecrow and sitting in a saddle. There will also be a bike raffle. Refreshments, including hot dogs, hamburgers and homemade baked goods from auxiliary members will be available for purchase.

Beebe Medical Center Auxiliary is a 501c3 fundraising organization with a mission to raise money and resources for Beebe Medical Center patient care programs. It has 250 members, 140 of whom actively donate more than 50 hours a year. These hours are through the Treasure Chest Thrift Store and the Gift Store. In recent years the auxiliary has donated more than $3.5 million to Beebe Medical Center.
