DCHS holds BBQ and bonfire at new location

September 1, 2013

Delmarva Christian High School held its opening day barbecue and bonfire Aug. 23. Official opening day for DCHS was Aug. 21 and the student body was happy to enter the new school west of Georgetown with its freshly painted interior featuring the school colors, purple and gray. The barbecue and bonfire are a 10-year school tradition. The pig roasted throughout the day and was ready when the parents and students arrived for the event.

Shown enjoying their barbecue meal are (l-r) Michal and Lisa LaFreniere and Raelynn and Kristen Ferencsik.
