Treasures in Lewes now carries distinctive Uno De 50 designer jewelry

August 31, 2013

Treasures now carries Uno De 50 jewelry from Madrid, Spain, at its 116 Second St. location in historic downtown Lewes.

Uno De 50 was started in the late 1990s when a group of creative designers decided to establish a jewelry and accessories business that would set itself apart, a new brand that would break away from existing trends and express its own philosophy and personality.. The designers decided to make only 50 units of each design, so whoever had one piece would have one of the existing 50.

With time, the company decided to expand its horizons. To thank loyal followers and preserve the essence of the brand, Uno De 50 still offers limited editions of 50 pieces for collectors.

One common characteristic of all pieces is the use of a metal alloy that allows shaping the designs of the brand, while providing a distinctive manual texture. Once the pieces have been molded, they undergo an anti-allergenic process and are finally mounted on items that combine silver with leather, resin, glass, etc.

The Uno de 50 collections include classic bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings with bold designs, in which the main attraction is crystal; the collection has new features such as Murano crystal and pieces created with Swarovski Elements in the reversal of the usual style, which allows designers to achieve extraordinary effects of depth.

The Resin Stones Collection represents the most genuine spirit of Uno de 50: voluptuous settings and silver-plated accessories with geometric designs to hold resin stones in vibrant colors. Uno de 50 also offers the Charms Collection. Original amulets symbolize exclusively what the wearer wants to convey.

Uno de 50 also offers a versatile collection of men’s jewelry. While men’s bracelets are some of the most sought-after pieces, more people are buying necklaces for men, rings, earrings and even brooches.

Treasures owner Michiko Seto said, “For the few short weeks we have had Uno de 50, it has already become one of our popular lines and we are expanding what we will be carrying.”

Seto currently has Treasures, which offers jewelry, cards and home décor including prints, framed art, lamps and area rugs; Lewes Gifts and Milford Gifts, which carry home accessories, gifts and the area’s largest selection of cards. She also has four Blooming Boutique stores which carry clothing, handbags, shoes, beads and jewelry with locations in Milford, Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach and Lewes.

Treasures’ store hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended summer and fall hour schedules. To learn more call 302-644-1660 or go to www.Del-A-Wear.com or follow on Facebook.
