Cape Henlopen School District supports Meals on Wheels golf tourney
Meals on Wheels of Lewes and Rehoboth Beach will be holding its annual golf tournament fundraiser Sunday, Sept. 22, and Monday, Sept. 23. This event will begin with a dinner and auction on Sunday night and end with the tournament on Monday afternoon.
As always, it is being held at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club. Tickets for the dinner are $75 and include appetizers, open bar and a grand buffet with a beef carving station. Dinner tickets and golf tournament information can be obtained by calling the Meals on Wheels office at 302-645-7449 or by emailing kkeuski@comcast.net.
Last year, this event paid for more than 12,000 meals for homebound seniors living in eastern Sussex County.
