Sussex woman thanks community

September 12, 2013

During the last year, my health meant long stays in the hospital and rehabilitation facilities.

During that five months, my friends at the Sussex Family YMCA - Terry Rasberry, Alin Buckley, the chair yoga class - all sent cards, letters and prayers.

The area churches put me on their prayer list - Conley United Methodist, Mary Mother of Peace and my “Columbiettes” group - brought peace and friendship when I needed it the most. It helped me through the difficult times.

Life's blessings from area friends made my life better. Thank you all for your support.
