Nanticokes celebrate annual powwow

The 36th Annual Nanticoke Indian Powwow was held  Sept. 7-8 in Oak Orchard. Representatives from many tribes came to the powwow to dance, sing and share history and culture. The event featured Native American food, authentic arts and crafts vendors and audience-participation dances.
