Survivors, patients and supporters gathered for the third annual butterfly release to close the month-long campaign to bring support to those touched by cancer. Local businesses and organizations sold seeded butterflies that were displayed on walls of curtains.
The event included crafts and vendors selling butterfly related items. A flutter of butterflies were bought and finally released to continue their migration.
Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to sell butterflies and offer activities for next years event.
