Throughout the month of August, Vineyard Vines in the Midway Tanger Outlets hosted a fundraiser for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

The store held a raffle at $10 a ticket for a pink beach cruiser bicycle which was displayed throughout the month.

DBCC staff and volunteers worked weekend shifts at the store to help sell the raffle tickets to customers.

In addition to a chance at winning the bicycle, raffle buyers also received $10 off their purchase of $100 or more at Vineyard Vines.

The lucky winner, a Potomac, Md., resident, was announced Sept. 1. Vineyard Vines generated enough proceeds from the fundraiser to make a donation of $1,800 to DBCC.
