Holiday Auction & Tastes of Milford set Nov. 21

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford will host its its Holiday Auction & Tastes of Milford starting at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Rookery North at 6152 S. Rehoboth Blvd. in Milford. The chamber will be celebrating the seventh anniversary event with co-beneficiary, the Mispillion Art League.

Event tickets are $20 in advance, and, if not sold out, $25 at the door. The event usually runs until around 9 p.m.

Auctioneer Dave Wilson will once again conduct the live auction.

Organizers are currently accepting silent and live auction donation items starting at minimum value of $25. More than 100 silent auction items and up to 20 live auction items are expected.

Tastes of Milford Chair Barbara Steele expects about 15 local restaurants and caterers to participate again this year, offering wonderful tastes from businesses in the greater Milford area. Steele says, “There’s always plenty of food to fill the belly while checking out the auction items.”

The committee is also seeking sponsors to join BK Rentals, i.g. Burton and Chick's in Harrington. Several sponsorships are available, ranging from the $1,000 Corporate Level to Friend of the Chamber at $50. Many of the sponsorships include tickets to the event.

This event is open to the public, and the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford and the Mispillion Art League welcome all.
