Public invited to talk with Gov. Markell Oct. 3

October 1, 2013

The public is invited to join Gov. Jack Markell and members of his cabinet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, in the auditorium of Cape Henlopen High School.

The governor will talk about his vision for Delaware and plans he and his cabinet members have for moving Delaware forward during his second four-year term.

Delaware’s General Assembly passed a $3.6 billion budget during the past legislative session, and this is a chance for the public to hear about that budget, ask questions, and express ideas and concerns.

This is a free event for the public to attend. It will also be broadcast and streamed live by 92.7 WGMD-FM, which is one of the event’s sponsors. Cape Henlopen High School and Cape Gazette are also sponsors for the event.
