Blooming Boutique supports DBCC by raffling 18K gold Trollbead

Ticket sales available through Oct. 13
October 2, 2013

Blooming Boutique is marking the start of Breast Cancer Awareness month with a very special event, A Red Carpet Affair at The Beach, Friday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Blooming Boutique Lewes store. Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition reps will be in the store sharing information, promoting its services and helping prevent breast cancer one individual at a time.

This event is free, but RSVPs are necessary at www.Trollbeadsatthebeach.com or at a local store. Blooming Boutique owner Michiko Seto is a passionate advocate of breast cancer awareness and felt she needed to do something very special, so she decided to raffle off an 18K gold Trollbead worth $986. Tickets are available in all Blooming Boutique stores, at www.trollbeadsatthebeach.com and www.bloomingboutique.com

This event will also mark the beginning of the first Mid-Atlantic Trollbeads Festival Trollbeads at The Beach Friday through Sunday, Oct. 11-13. More festival details and event schedule are available online at www.trollbeadsatthebeach.com.

Seto said, “I just thought it seemed appropriate with having the Trollbeads at the Beach Festival in Lewes in October and it being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, that we continue to show our support for Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition with this raffle. The 18K gold Ocean Bead fits our coastal area and is a very popular bead in the silver version.”

Today, DBCC remains the only organization in the state focused solely on breast health issues as they affect the women and men who live here. DBCC also is proud to serve neighbors in the surrounding communities in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. For more information visit www.debreastcancer.org.
