Cape homecoming brings the spirit back to the Vikings

The Cape Henlopen High School homecoming festivities brought a week of spirited fun and excitement for the young Vikes as well as the older warriors.

Spirit Week Sept. 30 to Oct. 4 at Cape included Merica Monday, Twin Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Day, Throwback Thursday. Friday concluded with Color War Day. A rousing pep rally was held Friday afternoon in the Cape gymnasium. Floats were built by the freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors to ride and display in the homecoming parade before the football game Friday night. The homecoming week concluded with a semi-formal dance in the high school cafeteria and rotunda.
