Beazer Homes to celebrate clubhouse groundbreaking in Millville Oct. 12

October 9, 2013

Beazer Homes, USA Inc. has announced a groundbreaking celebration for an expansive new clubhouse complex Saturday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m., at the Bishop’s Landing community in Millville.

Bishop’s Landing will sink the first shovels into the ground at the 10 a.m. ceremony and formally begin construction on what will become a nearly 12,000-square-foot clubhouse and amenity center, featuring an Olympic-sized swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness areas, a sports bar and a large outdoor deck. This amenity center is expected to be complete by May 2014.

The event is the highlight of the Bishop’s Landing Back to the Beach Weekend, during which the community will host a series of seminars on home design and organization, as well as events marking continued development in the community, which celebrated its grand opening in July.

“We’re so excited to break ground on our clubhouse, which will definitely become the social center of Bishop’s Landing,” said Ed Gold, Beazer Homes’ Maryland division president. “This community offers residents so many great amenities and benefits, not to mention the obvious draw of being so close to the beach. But it all begins with this wonderful clubhouse.”

Just minutes to Bethany Beach, Bishop’s Landing delivers a mix of uniquely designed ocean villas, beach villas and single family homes starting in the $200s. Ranging from 1,712 square feet to 3,007 square feet, the homes feature open, airy floor plans and a choice of one- or two-level living. The planned community promises a year-round resort lifestyle. Residents can also enjoy more than 51 acres of parks and green space, fitness paths, playgrounds, lawn games, sand volleyball, a stocked fishing pond with pier, dog park and a beach shuttle. Bishop’s Landing offers a model park to tour seven decorated models.
