Thanks for generosity in Lewes

October 27, 2013

The following letter was ent to Rick Quill of The Blue Water House in Lewes, with a copy submitted to the Cape Gazette for publication.

Dear Mr. Quill:

On behalf of the board and volunteers of Lewes in Bloom, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous monetary donation to Lewes Bake Shoppe to supply us with coffee, danish and muffins on planting day at the Lewes Post Office Oct. 16. We were very pleased to be a part of this beautification project and enjoyed watching the transformation taking place as we dug, planted and mulched around the building.

The Lewes Post Office has been added to the growing number of sites around town that Lewes in Bloom maintains throughout the year. We look forward to continuing our mission of promoting the beautification and maintenance of Historic Lewes and the community at large.

Once again, thank you so much for your generosity

Sue Townsend
Lewes in Bloom member and Lewes Post Office planting volunteer
