Matt Haley Companies and Circle in a Square donate to Epworth Skate Project

October 27, 2013

The Matt Haley Companies - Global Delaware Fund in conjunction with Circle in a Square Clothing recently donated $2,000 to the Epworth Skate Project, helping the group closer to its goal of $50,000 for construction of a concrete skate park.

“We are proud to be able to help get this project off the ground,” Haley said. “We know that the facility is going to be amazing and will provide a safe place for the skaters in the area to enjoy. It’s really going to be a great thing for our community.”

The donation from Circle in a Square was a last- minute decision on the part of Andrew Dickinson, owner and art director for the locally owned clothing company. “It just felt like the right thing to do," said Dickinson. “This is going to be such a great project. Being a surf/skate lifestyle clothing company, we really wanted to do something to show that we support the community that supports us. We’ve had booths set up at their skate days, and it’s just been awesome. We decided we really wanted to do something to take our relationship to the next level.”

As a show of ongoing support, Haley has also pledged to host a charity barbecue to raise additional funds once the park is up and running. Dickinson has also committed to participate in future skate days.
