Into Trees exhibit now on display at The Kitchen at Paynter's Mill

Artists' reception Nov. 2
October 22, 2013

Anne Carroll, C. Mercedes Walls, Betsy Rybczynski, Jerry Strum and Libby Zando are currently exhibiting works at The Kitchen@Paynter's Mill near Milton. The seasonal show, Into Trees, is curated by Libby Zando of Zando Designs Inc., who is known for her unique landscape and home designs.

When Zando was asked by a local nature photographer and art juror when she was "going to get over this tree thing," she laughed and said, "Only when you get over your nature thing!" An autumnal celebration of trees, glades and woodland light became the subject for her latest group show.

These accomplished local artists work in oil, watercolor, fabric and printmaking. An artists' reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2. Light refreshments will be served. Visitors can celebrate with good food, friends and local chef and owners, Ray and Lisa Richardson.

The Kitchen at Paynter's Mill is on Route 88, Cave Neck Road, just off Highway One. It offers lunch and dinner Wednesday through Saturday.
