The Holly Branch seeks entries for Celebration of the Soul Art and Literary Exhibit
The Holly Branch, National League of American Pen Women will hold an opening reception for Celebration of the Soul Art and Literary Exhibit from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Dover Public Library, 35 Loockerman Plaza, Dover.
A juried/judged show, Celebration of the Soul is open to males and females of any age. It will be the largest show the new Dover Public Library will have on display since the grand opening in September 2012.
Interested artists and writers can pick up an entry form at the Dover Public Library counter. The general public entry fee is $25 for up to three works, 2D, 3D, or literary. Email nlapw.hollybranch@gmail.com or call Joyce at 302-632-9680 for more details and to receive an entry form.
The one-day-only drop-off date for entries is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The free opening reception will be held in the multipurpose room of the library. Ribbons will be awarded and on display from Nov. 10 through Dec. 27, when the show will end.
