Delmarva Christian to host open house for prospective students Nov. 2

Delmarva Christian High School is hosting an open house for prospective students from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 2, at the new building, 21777 Sussex Pines Road in Georgetown. Visitors will meet DCHS teachers, staff, students, and parents to discuss the school’s Christ-centered curriculum that imparts excellence in academic standards, exceptional academic scores, and high college acceptance rates. Information on the school’s unique and exciting J-Term, iLearn, sports, music, visual and performing arts programs for students will also be available.

An informal question-and-answer session will address questions regarding the new construction of the Arts and Athletics Center, and plot plans outlining the layout of the new soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, and baseball facilities will be on display.

Delmarva Christian High School is a nondenominational Christian high school serving students in grades nine through 12. DCHS is dually accredited by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association and the Association of Christian Schools International, with teachers certified by the State of Delaware, or a reciprocal state, or by ACSI. Offering 12 different varsity-level sports, DCHS is a member of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association, the Diamond State Conference, and the Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference.
