SA students hold ghost tours to benefit Guiding Eyes for the Blind

Students from the Sussex Academy recently presented Candlelight Walking Ghost Tours in downtown Georgetown. Students, parents and teachers organized and presented the tours.  More than $800 was raised, all of which benefits Guiding Eyes for the Blind - Delmarva Region.

One of Sussex Academy’s principles is Service and Compassion, and community service is an integral part of the school curriculum.

Some of the participants include in back (l-r) Erin Kay, Karen Willey, Carol Ann Meadows, Joe Booth, Claire Loftus, Kyra Cutsail, Linda Byle from Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Sydney Beard, Jenna Beard, Aliyah Patel and Becky Trader. In front are Blaine Mariner, Ethan Ward, Abby Ruark, Maggie Smith, Kathleen Yeary and Maddie Rice.
