Lewes artist Linda Dickey publishes 2014 calendar

Lewes artist Linda Dickey recently published a 2014 monthly calendar of some of her favorite paintings of scenes in and around Lewes. Dickey was inspired to print the calendar when patrons suggested she share her paintings in a format other than originals, prints or notecards.

A calendar seemed like the perfect idea, and raising money for one of her favorite charities, the LYC Foundation, was an added benefit.

The $25 calendar is available by emailing the artist at ldickey@4sightgroup.com. Thirty-five percent of the profits from sales will be donated to the LYC Foundation, www.lycfoundation.com, a Lewes-based nonprofit whose mission is to provide funding to enhance the potential of youth in sailing, swimming, and maritime activities and education. Dickey currently serves as treasurer on the foundation’s board of directors.
