Women from all over Sussex County will come together from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, to help build two homes on Linden Avenue in Georgetown Point, Georgetown. Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that seeks to include, encourage and empower women in the mission of building simple, decent, and affordable housing. Women Build is not about excluding men but rather including women and providing new opportunities.

Big Fish Grill in Rehoboth will have a special Dine and Donate Day for Women Build Sunday, Nov. 10. Benefit vouchers are available through Sussex County Habitat for Humanity and from Big Fish Grill during the event. Diners can present the server with a voucher when seated, and at the end of the night, Big Fish Grill will donate a percentage of proceeds to Sussex County Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build.

Georgetown Point is just off southbound Route 113 in Georgetown behind Furious Fitness and close to Howard T. Ennis School. The street addresses are 116 and 120 Linden Ave.

Big Fish Grill is at 20198 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach.
