Georgetown car show raises money for breast cancer awareness

November 12, 2013

The first Georgetown Breast Cancer Awareness Car Show, held Oct. 20, garnered $4,127 to benefit the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. The 2014 car show will take place on Oct. 19 at the Circle in Georgetown.

The Historic Vintage Car Club of Delaware raised and donated $3,204 to DBCC.

Shown at the check presentation are (l-r) Sue Ryan and Connie Holdridge of DBCC; Jerry Speace, president of HVCCD; and Levin Clark. The car show was Clark’s idea to honor his wife, who is a breast cancer survivor.
