JROTC cadets assist at Rehoboth Applebee's for Veterans Day event

Led by Cadets Cody Ross, Cassidy Blevins, and Alex Dominick, 33 Cape Henlopen High School JROTC cadets assisted the Rehoboth Applebee’s restaurant staff in providing complimentary special meals to local veterans, active-duty military members and their families, in celebration of Veterans Day.

From 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Nov. 11, the cadets, working in shifts, performed a myriad of tasks: busing tables, serving refreshments, greeting and escorting patrons to seats, and providing cleanup assistance to the regular staff. It proved to be a long and busy day and evening for the cadets, who provided essential help to the staff, ensuring that the hundreds of patrons were served in an efficient, expeditious, and courteous manner.

Cape Henlopen cadets who volunteered their time were: Josh Betts, Josh Steiner, Dean Hysock, Zach Harris, Kateyln Schneider, Gabrielle Primeaux, Jessica Ennis, Jenna Ennis, Pete Leskovac, Kristina Grasch, Charles Kloetzli, Kenneth Meyers, Raymond Sprvil, James Mulholland, Carlos Rodriguez, David Collard, Tyra Yeates, Jake Siranides, Timothy Wall, Josh Willis, Eric Gardener, Henry Chan, Kelsey Bates, Casondra Gentner, Eric Miller, Josh Thompson, Ross Hicks, Brianna Woodward, Eryica Lewis, Kaylee Lambert, Dylan Barbour and Job Robertson.
