Peninsula Gallery will open its Tenth Annual Small Jewels Show featuring 21 artists presenting small works of art, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30.

“This is our tenth year for the Small Jewels Exhibition and because of the calendar we will have the opening on the Saturday after Thanksgiving,” said BJ Clark, owner of Peninsula Gallery. As in the past the art in the show features small works of art in a variety of media that includes jewelry and glass and metal ornaments as well as paintings.

Returning artists include many of the resident gallery artists: Al Barker, Jill Basham, Beth Clark, Denise Dumont, John Held, Vincent Hughes, Doris Ingram, Victor Letonoff, Michelle Marshall, Steve Rogers, John Schisler, and Nick Serratore. Finally, returning artists also include, Arden Bardol, a 2012 NICHE award winning artist presenting jewelry in colorful polymers; fiber artist, Betsy Von Dreelle; Yan Dong Wang with ornaments in recycled metals; Bob Richey, pastel landscapes; Karin Snoots, acrylic miniatures; and Barbara Warden, mixed media abstract presentations.

The show has become a tradition for the gallery and this year the exhibition will extend through the holiday season into the New Year until the second week of January.
