Hamfest supports Sussex Tech Radio students

SARA presents $1,000 to Amateur Radio Club

Sussex Tech hosted the annual Amateur Radio and Electronics Expo, commonly referred to as Hamfest, Oct. 26. The event featured vendors, equipment displays, demonstrations, and forums that focus on advances in technology and radio communications.

The event benefits the Sussex Technical High School student Amateur Radio Club and the Sussex Amateur Radio Association. At the conclusion of the event, SARA presented a $1,000 check to Sussex Tech’s Amateur Radio Club in appreciation of its support of the event.
