ACA article placement questioned

November 21, 2013

An interesting article was relegated to Page 21 of the Nov. 15 edition of the paper. It was about how well the Affordable Care Act website worked for a local businessman.

It seems Mr. Phillip Katz, owner of Cake Break, successfully navigated the ACA website and enrolled in a policy that substantially reduced his healthcare costs by $10,000 over the next year. I find that amazing considering the lies and no-truths the Republicans have been spreading.

But I question why this article was placed on page 21 when news of the failures of the website get top billing? This is a local businessman who saved thousands on his healthcare costs by being diligent and signing up. Also, for those who have failed to get online, try using the phone.....42 seconds until a human picks up.
