Cancer Support Community offers Art HOPE Dec. 3

November 26, 2013

The Cancer Support Community - Delaware will offer Art HOPE: The Art of Gratitude at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, at its Sussex facility. Pamela Montague, photographer and social worker, will engage with participants to explore and recognize the important benefits of gratitude in daily life.

She will also help them creatively construct stationery to share with loved ones or to acknowledge support, inspiration, energy, or guidance by sharing their personal message through her inspiring collection of photographs called Sand Scripts with others in their lives.

The Art of Gratitude is part of the Art HOPE (Healing Opportunities for Personal Expression) series. This program is made possible, in part, by the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the national Endowment for the Arts.

Call 302-645-9150 in advance to reserve a spot for the session. All programs offered at CSC are free of charge to people affected by cancer and their loved ones. The Sussex facility is at 18947 John J. Williams Highway, Suite 312, Rehoboth.
