Owl’s Nest holds ribbon cutting

December 2, 2013

The Owl’s Nest, an antiques and rustic furniture store located near Georgetown, recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony sponsored by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. Located at 25037 Zoar Road, owners Robert Hermanson and Linda Rust have been operating the small store for about a year.

Hermanson creates rustic furniture that retains some of the qualities of the trees he makes the furniture from. There are also many unique antique pieces in the store along with handcrafted items from local artists.

Shown at the ribbon cutting standing in back are (l-r) Casey Bradham, Delmarva VOIP; Deb Wright, Rep. Dave Wilson, R-Bridgeville; Rep. Harvey Kenton, R-Milford; and Gene Dvornick, Georgetown town manager. In front are Karen Duffield, Chamber executive director; Helen Kruger, membership chair; Robert Hermanson and Linda Rust, co-owners; Ray Hopkins, chamber; and Jan Ezell, County Bank.

The Owl’s Nest can be contacted at 302-934-8935.
