'The Christmas Hippo' author to sign books Dec. 14 at Browseabout

Lisa E. Williams, a Smyrna resident and author of "The Christmas Hippo," will be at Browseabout Books at 113 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14. She will be autographing copies of her children's book set in Delaware and based on a true story of loss and hope.

"The Christmas Hippo" is a tale about a lost toy, a caring bus driver, and the power of prayer in the midst of a busy Christmas season. The paperback is full of whimsical illustrations and reminds children that God cares about even the smallest concerns in people's lives. Williams is a professional counselor who works with children and families. She lives in Smyrna with her husband and their three children.
