KSI names Susan Dorow Employee of the Quarter

December 27, 2013

Susan Dorow of Lewes recently received the Employee of the Third Quarter 2013 Award from Kent-Sussex Industries Inc.

Dorow, employed by KSI since September 2012, tackles new work experiences with a smile. She enjoys being challenged, and when one task is mastered, she’s ready for the next. Dorow expressed an interest in KSI’s Cartridge Service and advocated for an opportunity to try working there. After a few weeks, her supervisors discovered they had a talented, versatile employee who learned pretty quickly the various steps involved in the cartridge remanufacturing process. Step by step, Dorow is learning the cartridge business and enjoying the success of mastering another step. Now part of the cartridge work crew, she will continue learning and bringing a positive attitude to the workplace.

As Employee of the Quarter, Dorow’s name has been added to a permanent plaque at KSI, and she received a $50 Visa Gift Card from Dover Federal Credit Union. She also received a gift certificate donated by G & R Campground in Houston, entitling her to spend a weekend in one of its cottages, and a one-year aquatics membership from the Greater Milford Boys & Girls Club.

KSI is a not-for-profit agency providing vocational training and employment services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties.
