Rehoboth Bod Pod, CrossFit Rehoboth partner for new weight loss boot camp

January 4, 2014

It’s that time of the year again when most people are headed back to the gym to work off extra pounds gained by enjoying the holiday season, but unfortunately, by mid-February 80 percent of those who set out to get in shape will have failed to achieve their goals. Why does this happen? The answer is simple. Although they had good intentions, they neglected to set up the right support system. That’s why it’s important to seek out professionals who can guide you to success. Rehoboth Bod Pod is proud to announce that this year we are partnering up with Rehoboth CrossFit to offer a weight-loss boot camp.

The boot camp will be run by Jessica Perez Beebe, owner of CrossFit Rehoboth, and she is looking for 20 people to join and work in a group atmosphere and train with the goal of working together for four weeks to lose weight, learn how to get the most out of workouts and jump-start new year’s resolutions. The boot camp includes a personalized consultation, before-and-after pictures, weight monitoring, measurements, nutritional guide, unlimited classes and more. Jessica has assembled a partnership of experienced fitness professionals to ensure that all the necessary pieces are in order to give her clients the best possible chance for success. The training will take place at Rehoboth CrossFit; the diet and nutritional counseling will be spearheaded by Lesslee Belmore, and the body fat testing will be done by Rehoboth Bod Pod. All participants will have the option to continue when the initial four weeks are up.

Rehoboth Bod Pod is a company that offers the most accurate body fat assessment and fitness evaluations available on the market today. The Bod Pod technology is used by the NFL, the Mayo Clinic, the Biggest Loser TV show and many major universities to track the success of fitness programs. It is a very important tool for getting in shape, because It can tell you exactly how much body fat and lean mass you have on your frame, grade your overall health accordingly and then track your progress, showing fat loss and lean muscle gain throughout your fitness journey. Anyone who has ever tried to get in shape knows if you can see results, you are much more likely to be successful, and the Bod Pod will give you the best and most accurate information available.

Most people today use weight only to gauge the effectiveness of their program, but really that’s just one measure. It can be misleading, because if you lose valuable muscle mass instead of fat, you will damage your metabolism, and you will be a smaller, fatter person who will quickly put the lost weight back on. However, if you lose only fat and preserve lean tissue, you will supercharge your metabolism and continue to burn fat even when you’re not working out.

This boot camp will be an excellent opportunity for 20 people who would like to start off their new year’s fitness resolution with a winning support system. For more information, contact CrossFit Rehoboth at 302-227-3636. Spots will be limited to only 20 lucky people, and the deadline for registration is Jan. 10, so don’t wait - sign up now as spots will sell out fast. Bod Pod Rehoboth will be posting results throughout the boot camp on our Facebook page, Rehoboth Bod Pod, so stay tuned for more details.
